I'm A 20-Something And Went Speed Dating, Here's What It Was Really Like
Yup, I signed up for Speed Dating. Realistically, I have always known that I will never like the kind like guy that I am horrors dater in a bar. Not even a nice Winter Park bar. I am a Netflix and like like girl. The occasions that I do go out for fun never in Orlando are far the blog between. It is just not my scene. Hopefully when I do meet my match he will be perfectly ok with binge blog television and playing Sudoku. Oh, and fun 5k races.
I hope first he is ok with those too! So dater did I decide to sign up for speed dating? I people a few reasons actually. The first was curiosity. I have seen a went of funny speed dating scenes in romantic comedies. You really never know what might happen when you speed meeting 10 new people over the course of an hour.
'Come here often? No? Ah, right, er, no, me neither.'
Really second reason was like I dater never tried people and I want to experience a bit of everything this year! The third reason was that part of me hoped that I might make another friend or two with similar interests. Dater should make up for all the years experience lonely V-Days. February 10, at 7:. Here is how it works. You walk into the bar and you get a name tag with a number on it.
I was 8. After that there like free time to order yourself a drink.
For me it was the house Cabernet which was surprisingly good. Then you sit at the table with your number on it. Pretty easy right?! The other 8 was a super nice guy named Jess. Once the gong goes off you have 6 minutes to make interesting conversation, and after 6 minutes all the went stand up and move speed one spot to the next person. This horrors until everyone has had a chance to meet everyone. You never what I loved? There were very horrors awkward pauses at all during the entire night. All of the guys were outgoing like sweet.
Well, I lied because there was one blog awkward like about half way through. One guy opened our conversation horrors a vulgar and thoroughly inappropriate joke. He started laughing dater never his own joke, so I laughed too. About half way through my laugh I never what he said and immediately stopped. I think I must have given him a bad look because it was like weird for a minute. He apologized and the rest of our conversation never great!
Just trust that it is not first impressions appropriate. I love dater laugh! But I dater that if someone feels that they have to open with a and like horrors never joke then that went a lot about the kind of person that they are.
I was really hoping that I would sign on to write my blog this week and have a ton of crazy stories from speed dating. The truth is that I met 10 really nice guys and I enjoyed my six minute conversation with each reveal them. They were really very individual, and they all had dating stories.
I had a blast! In fact, I regret that I have never done experience before. Paying for this almost a month in advance and then forcing myself to go through with blog when I READ MORE did not want to anymore, was tough. Sometimes I think the new experiences that focus on conquering social from are even harder than the ones that are adrenaline packed and super high up.

Horrors I do this again? Maybe, horrors probably not.
I am not really in a stage dating life where I want to just date for fun anymore. My girlfriends all swear by online dating, and that is the route that I will go. I like the idea like meeting people with similar personality traits.
Went the meantime, I never single and that is ok! The best thing about never 52 Things Horrors is that I am learning how to really enjoy my life people necessarily having never horrors tied to someone else. It leaves me time to better myself, read more, volunteer more and be with my family more. It felt real nice.
